U of T / UBC Alumni Dragon Boat Open Day

9:15 a.m. -12 p.m. Sunday, Mar 7

Paddles up! The U of T / UBC Alumni Association Dragon Boat Team in Hong Kong is calling paddlers of all levels for the 2010 Dragon Boat season.

Not sure what this sport is about? No problem. Join us at the open day on Sunday, March 7. This event provides a fun introduction to dragon boat racing. It's a great way to meet the friendly and sporty people who are dedicated to paddling.

Spaces to the open day are limited and registration is first come, first served.

Registration for the 2010 crew will open on March 10 and will close on March 19. Priority is given to U of T and UBC graduates and the registration form will be available upon request by e-mail as from March 10.

Rediscovering Japan: Through a Culinary Odyssey

From Hong Kong's Demon Chef to Japan's Iron Chef, the Munk Centre's Asian Institute continues its academic exploration of food and culture at Asian Foodprints.

Co-hosted by the Asian Institute and the Dr. David Chu Program in Asia-Pacific Studies, Asian Foodprints is a one-day conference on March 5 in Toronto.
